All versions of Bridge Coach allow the student to set the pace of learning and to move on within the program when they are satisfied that the concepts are understood. It has been designed primarily as a support system or homework for individuals who have started bridge classes. However, the program can also be used by individuals at home to practice playing bridge and to further develop their bridge playing experience, knowledge and skills. In addition, Bridge Coach can be used by bridge teachers, who utilize a computer and projector, as a teaching aid during their lessons.

Bridge Coach is structured into sections so that you can choose the aspect of the game on which you would like to focus. The Bridge Coach student is supported by an extensive, easy-to-access glossary and articles explaining how to bid the hand and play the cards

Program Features

Optional bidding directions are available during the auction. These provide help in calculating the point count of a hand and in choosing the correct bids to make within an auction.

A range of different types of card play assistance is available throughout. At the start of the program, quite a lot of support is available in choosing the correct card(s) to play.

As you progress through the program you have to take more responsibility for play descisions and then find out whether you have found a successful line of play.
